YES! got the call for my stuffing on turkey day.
usually it's my pickled deviled eggs that I get tapped for but not this year! although I'm bringing em.
and I finagled a batch of my green bean casserole into the line-up too! ftr, I make my dressing with stale sour dough bread and homemade cornbread. :winkwink: turkeys are fried this year, so the gravy won't be ideal. |

Deviled eggs? Signature stuffing? Cornbread?!!
If you weren't a smoker I'd be looking at ways of getting you adopted into my family. :D |

hard boil 12 eggs. make a brine consisting of 3 cups water 3 cups vinegar 1 tb salt 3 tb pepper and several peppercorns *maybe* a tsp of mustard seeds boil, then simmer for 10, remove from heat (you can add some pickle juice or beet juice to get some color here too) peel the eggs and add them to brine in a big container and put in the fridge for 2 days. after 2 days, slice eggs in 2 lengthways, remove yolks. I make a very classic deviled egg with these, no need to get fancy with the yolks since the eggs are pickled. 1/2 cup mayo 2 tsp vinegar 2 tsp yellow mustard mix that up and spoon back into the halves. black pepper and paprika sprinkled on top. *maybe* some capers If you can get 24 hour fresh eggs for these, wow! |

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...,500_SH20_.jpg i'll bake a loaf of that and cube it up then toast the cubes in the oven along with the sour dough cubed, 250 for an hour, for the dressing. |

Adoption may be a bit extreme. Your family probably won't want to part with their deviled egg source. Perhaps we could rent you? What are you doing next October? (Canuck Thanksgiving) |
Hell with it, I just may very well take a crack at making up a small batch of those deviled eggs.
Get it? "take a crack?" yeah you see what I did there. |
Post pics afterwards! :thumbsup

ok, it's not the best pic because we're drunk here and not terribly worried about the gfy fuckwad brigade, here's my bread mixure and spice mxiture coming together, I'll let these come together overnight, then poor fresh turkey broth over it all and bake it for 20-30 minutes, prolly something else that I am forgetting now since I'm loaded!
oh, and gofuckyourself sly, fuckwad. http://i.imgur.com/L90AHQu.jpg |
