Was the attendance low this year?

I'm not seeing many people in those pics. :(
Looked like there were more people on the panel in that one pic than there were in the audience.

I haven't gone to XBiz in L.A. in a couple of years now.
The problem with the show in L.A. seemed to be that since everyone lives there...the host hotel and daytime show itself were like a ghost town...everybody was at home or their offices working.

The parties were pretty good at night. But in the daytime? Not so much. Last time I attended, we ended up walking around town during the day because the hotel/show was kinda dead.

I was talking to one of the XBIZ people about this yesterday. It is pretty difficult to gauge because people are staying at several hotels and the seminars are spread all over the hotel so I haven't really had a chance to see everyone at one place.

Part of the problem is that the weather here is amazing so people that come from cold places like to go out and enjoy it.

My experience with the L.A. show is it will be a ghost town at the convention. And then on the night of the Awards Show...EVERYBODY will be there. :)

No. The rooms are small, tough to get audience and panel in same frame

That being said, today is pretty deserted. People getting ready for awards or heading to Vegas

I'll meet and greet in Vegas but did some networking at this show as well...the program was well done overall. Wish I knew when the exec awards dinner was as most people didn't until the last minute, but overall a good time.
