Blackhat movie - Zzzzzzz
 

Just got back from seeing Blackhat - that's a couple of hours I'll never get back. This movie was so bad I very nearly walked out before the end...something I've never done.

Save your money and avoid this turkey - trust me.

Has a pretty low Tomatoemeter score...I was hoping for something good because I usually love whatever Michael Mann does.

Yeah, same here. I was really lookin' forward to seeing this - but it was just a stinker. Shaky cam during all the action sequences was nausea-inducing. Plot holes big enough to drive a Buick through. The ending was mind-numbingly stupid.

Was in my way out the door. I was looking forward to this one, but this is enough for me to wait for Bluray release.

American Sniper it is.

I had my doubts about this movie. A Hacker that is also a pretty boy and built and can beat up bad guys? Michael Mann has made some good movies but this one looks like a stinker.

Plus as usual, Hollywood always, always, gets their computer stuff wrong. They load up the computer screens with flying "data" and graphics of pure gibberish. The geek "hacks" his way in by typing in "override" and saves the day. It's as if the writers forget that the whole world uses computers now.

Sad to hear, especially considering I typically like Michael Mann movies.

In Blackhat - Hemsworth's character sends a .PDF file attachment in an email to a guy at the NSA to prompt him to change his password - but egads...it's actually a keylogger. NSA dude immediately opens the .PDF and changes his password, duh!

I could actually hear a braincell dying in my head in the theatre.

Yes what's up with the shaky cam in movie action scenes, I hate it every single time.
