Considering selling my network.. wankpass.com, no clue what to charge?
I'm hardly active in the adult business anymore and I'm considering selling my network of 40+ sites (The Wankpass network)
It's currently using CCBILL and the income is sloooowly descreasing due to my inactivity.. but most sales comes from type-ins.. not a single dollar is spent on any type of advertising. These are the current stats, week by week.. On top of these numbers are an average of $300 in xsales pr. week http://wankfeed.com/images/stats.png The individual sites can be seen here : Wankpass.com, Full length videos. There's some pretty solid sites in the bunch.. PublicSexShows.com is doing 1:461 real 1st page raw ScandalShows.com is doing 1:466 real 1st page raw The average for all sites is 1:1006 real 1st page raw My server costs is around $750 a month The network will be sold with an export function in the admin area - so the idea is for the new owner to import all the sites into what ever CMS they are using - my system is 100% custom made and I will not offer support for it after it's sold.. other than making sure the export to the new CMS goes smoothly. So, what would a reasonable price be?!?! Also, what's the best way to do such a business to insure I'm not getting scammed? |
Kicking up :) goodluck :thumbsup

Good luck. You should use escrow.com for money transfer.
|
So it makes $1-1.5k a week ?
(before hosting etc) Sign of the times I suppose. |
i think you can make more if you leave the network on autopilot, or just leave it die slowly ... :2 cents: i made some money with you, have luck with the sale :thumbsup
|
I might be interested in that. Drop me a line at webmaster?@?synfulmedia if you do decide to sell it.
:thumbsup |
Hey what about hiring someone to take over and run and update the network. Looks like a great network. *shrugs*
|
I wish I could. But now I dont have the cash on hand as its tied in other projects.
If you decide to let it die our maybe a Partnership would be better. Hit me up if your interested. Skype in my sig. |
I'm not entirely familiar with CCBill stats. What are the earnings on that monthly?
Does the content come with? How many new sales are generated weekly? |
It depends on a lot more than just the monthly income, but I suppose the CCBill account comes along with it. Also amount of content and amount of exclusive content comes into play.
But for sure, use escrow. Here is a bump for you. |
good luck
|
someone could turn that into some nice $.
|
Send me your Skype/ICQ/email over PM and we'll talk. I'm interested.
That goes for others as well. Interested in CCBill sites with active sales. |

Looking for a full buyout, a merger, partnership or something creative?
ICQ in sig. I would not be interested in a full buyout right now but perhaps a merger/partnership of some kind. I am also with CCBill. There's much I could do with your sites given my current 'system'. If interested reach out. Either way best of luck!! :) |
Sign O the times.
|
Damn.. maybe you can share with us some screenshots when the network had it's top earning days? :)
|
would need a lot of info to do a real valuation, but Id start looking for 2-3X earnings.
BUT..... If I were you (I think someone mentioned this) I would hire a decent outsourced worker part time. Maybe 3-4 hours a day to take over the work. Give them a little training on trades and basic traffic generation and let them do the grunt work. Who knows, if they put in 15-20 hrs a week, that traffic may start to grow, and even if it just stays level, it will only cost you $1,500 a month to hire the person. You'll hold onto a revenue stream without having to spend any time on it. Thats how we built our business. Either build up or buy sites, networks and businesses. Get them profitable and stable and then hire people to take over the day to day. Rinse and repeat. You do it right, you can turn around and find yourself with 10+ separate businesses all making $$. That is assuming you don't need the $ from the sale for some reason. Good luck! |

Those were back in 2009 I think.. 500+ sales a day for quite some time. |
How much would you let it go for?
|
You'll lose money if you sell. Sounds like all you need is traffic.

Good luck with the sale. You killed it hard for a long time :thumbsup
People don't realize that sometimes you just wanna cut all ties for social/business reasons. I shut down certain paysites because the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. |

Site grosses 100k a month.....2X earning 2.4mm Again, there is ALOT that would go into a real valuation. Traffic levels, are they on the rise, the decline, steady. Is it all organic etc etc etc. I suppose it could really be anywhere from 6mo - 3 yrs depending on all those variables. And of course the BIGGEST variable. Number of interested buyers ;) good luck |

I know I'm not getting 2-3 years profit :) But 3 months is a joke - no one would sell for that. If I can't get a years worth of the current income it ain't going nowhere. |

As Jason said, it all comes down to how many buyers there are :2 cents: |
I'm interested. Is the content all exclusive? Do you have all the 2257? I'd only be interested in the domains, designs, content & remaining ccbill members. I don't want the cms. It sounds like a mess but you'd need to help migrate it off and into mine. At lease coordinate the geeks together. Anyways hit me up,
