I love this industry.

My favorite part is working from home. Fuck working in an office. I will never ever do that again. I set my own hours, and while I always work more than eight hours a day plus work on weekends, I love being able to set my own hours.... I also love being able to sneak out for a few hours to do something in the middle of the day, or to take a long lunch with a friend.

I agree with Rochard. How can you ever go back to working in an office after you've been working from home?

Life is great when you wake up and don't need to leave the house to go to work. I hang out with my dog and work all day with no distractions or the need to deal with "personalities" at the office.

Abso-tootn-lutely love this industry! Only been working in it for 6 years but every year it gets better. Growing up in what's named "Porn Valley" I suppose it was a natural move to start working in this biz, best move I've made ;)

Being at home definitely takes the sting out of working on weekends.

I always said if I have to work for an asshole, it might as well be myself.

I love this industry. Ive been in the industry for over 14 years now and love it more every year. For me this is much more than a job and a way to put food on the table. Many people here are like family to me and I care about them and our industry. I want to better our industry. If I didnt like working in the biz I would just clock in at 9am and out at 5pm and not use any of my personal time toward the business.

I love my job and I am very grateful for it.

Thanks GOD for porn. For years I got up at 6am to be on the train at 7:45 and would see everyone around me exhausted and sad looking on the train. I havent had to wake up early for a long time.

Unfortunately sales are slumping for me thats the only bummer but Im grateful for the run I had.

The reason I moved full time to this Industry 15+ years ago is to be happy, be independent, etc..

My BOL and another friend both work corporate jobs and both have horrible women bosses who make their lives miserable. Weekly meetings at 7am on Mondays, piling more work on, being bossed around and you have to just shut up and take it. fuck that.

Been happy in this industry for the past 14+ years. Can't beat making a great living while working from home and having lots of great friends.

Working from home is awesome and earning a great living doing it rocks. But all those great friends you have? That's a fantasy. Let your great income dry up for a bit, and you'll see the majority of those great friends do the same thing.

But on the bright side... When you turn your income around, you can keep those fair-weather friends kicked to your outer circle, where they belong.

Just sharing a little wisdom learned from being in this business for 18 years.

Now imagine what happens when you have a low income from a mainstream job... :2 cents:

I'm happy in the industry, just a little conscious my partner & I could be doing more, maybe contacting more people, selling our content to other companies rather than just our own content sites. But then when we go to, another path is on the hill.

Yes that's good, and also I can work anywhere with a notebook, however, I have to lie what my job really is to 95% of people, this is so boring.

Yes, I have to agree, I love the smooth days of shooting and when things are fun. Sometimes it's not like that and having to force yourself to shoot is never a good time. I don't like hiding what I do because of closed minded people. Or how people think it's all fun and games (not a real job). shooting, editing, then countless hours doing other things is always a blast! I admit I love the finished product and it makes it all worth while :)

All and all, I do love what I do and there is no other job I'd rather have.

I don't think the majority of the folks in the industry are cut out for mainstream. This is where we belong.
