I would make sure to ask the flight attendant as loud as it can be possibly heard by all passengers, to address exactly what saw, then suggest walking out, taking others with you.

My partner always keeps me calm, the fact that flying is still the safest way to travel. So, I'd stay sat, as the pilot would've seen it. It's when he leaves that you worry :winkwink:
