People that have no respect for everyone else's intellectual property rights (Mindgeek)...complaining about it.

Here is a scene I shot exclusively for Joggs. And there it sits on Pornhub...pirated.

All Mindgeek properties seem to comply with DMCA, has there been a notice issued ?

I have no idea if a DMCA has been issued. As I said, this was exclusive content that I shot for Joggs a few years ago. So I don't own the rights to it.

These guys know what is happening on their sites...and they play the DMCA game. That makes them pieces of garbage to me. And hypocritical to whine about THEIR intellectual property rights all the while making a fucking fortune selling traffic over the last few years off the backs of other people's content. :(

People better watch out. I can remember a certain "affair" site who's name sounds like a womens name (not mentioning to avoid being sued) started going after their affiliates. They were sending out lawsuits for 5K to 25K per domain.

I also got this email from them, i replied "What is your complaint?" they answer:

We receive two of these funny mails. I didn't know what these guys want. We are no affiliates of them. We hold more 1000s of Domains for our customers. So I didn't know what and which domain they means. There was nothing attached and no domain listed.

Looks like its a mail everyone get?! Can it be?

And looks like a interesting untold open secret I didn't know. Any more infos?

Are Christian Boushey or Thomas Stone still with them? They contacted me in 2013 , we had limited communication. I was interested in how they wanted to work together, then heard nothing at all from them after all the effort I put forth, then they took over SeanCody a few months ago. I wonder why they stopped communicating with me.

A friend of mine has owned that site since the day he opened it. Did he sell it to them or something?

As for the content...it was shot exclusively and licensed to the owner of Joggs.

So unless he sold that person who did the "user upload" the license, then it is stolen content.

And of course since the video actually has text on the beginning that says it's shot exclusively for Joggs.Com that would mean that anyone working at Pornhub could plainly see it's not a video that someone shot of themselves with their girlfriend...

This whole game they play is just fucking stupid.

Let's call a spade a spade. If you didn't shoot it or buy the license for ANY video...it's stolen.

MindGeek license a shit load of content and many now defunct sites content libraries seem to be in their hands in entirety.

I don't know if they licensed it, own the rights or whatever and neither do you. If it's stolen then the owner should file a DMCA, if they don't then that's their prerogative.

I've been critical of Mindgeek in the past and am critical of them now over Redtube in particular. However they do comply with the DMCA unlike many of the scumbag file locker owners.

If the rights holder of that video issued a DMCA then it would be down quickly, however nobody has - so either Mindgeek have the rights to it or nobody cares.

You can bitch and moan all you like but the fact is as things stand with the law, until the rights holder does send a DMCA takedown notice there isn't much that can be done.

On the other side of the tube coin, look at a site like XVideos, who have a habit of putting hurdles in front of rights holders and being very poor when responding the DMCA notices. XVideos is pretty bad.

Then you get to the extremes of Motherless and Spankbang who just don't comply properly.

I'm not defending tubes, what I am saying is that there is a process. Nobody has followed that process. We have not seen one single DMCA notice cross our platform that relates to Joggs content - so either someone owns the rights and is not enforcing them or Mindgeek own the rights and have not taken the video down because of that.

Everything stopped for Joggs on 6/25/13. Their site stopped updating, and their Twitter stopped updating on 6/19/2013 after they followed WJunction , after that looks like hack spam for apps, though they've been getting copyright removal requests from their site as late as July 2014.

The problem is, and you may not know this, but on some of their sites, the DMCA link is not to receive DMCA notices, only to SEND them. I has told this by a content owner who they ripped off. Its cool they support the effort but at the end of the day they are not very bright.....crooks.

MG was using a company's content. Company sent DMCA notice to DMCA e-mail on the MG site. MG responded by asking what were they doing. The company was told the DMCA was for MG to send DMCA's not receive them. Even though they were ripping the company's content. Odd response from MG. It could be less of a crook thing and more of an incompetent thing. Not sure.
