I get it Already Mindgeek.
Some people are Infringing on your Trademarks. I Don't think Daily Reminder emails about it are needed. Thanks |

Well, stop having a mind or being a geek then. You have 30 days to surrender your mind and all associated income, domains and creatives so get busy!

Hey,
The reason you must be getting a few notices is because of multiple accounts or accounts on the various programs we run. Sorry for that Thanks |
This thread is ironic
|
I have gotten a few.. but .. well... yea ...

While I agree with them protecting their brands (every program should be doing this) I find it highly ironic considering the foundations of their company was based on content theft.
But that's not to say they don't have a right to protect their brands from brand-squatters, it's something affiliates should not be doing without pre-consent anyways and it confuses the surfers looking for that brand. |

By protecting their brand they are by proxy protecting every brand they have ever stole from...so I guess thanks for that ( you thieving pricks ).

Are any of your notices naming sites? A good webmaster I know got one today and he's not even a MG affiliate.
They sent these: erito.com, cosplayinjapan.com, eritoavstars.com, japantiniest.com, milfsinjapan.com, teensoktokyo.com One of the ones in bold, teensoktokyo.com stands out cause isn't it a play on a Payserve site name? There must be plenty of sites similar that came along WAY before the MG properties. Even erito.com is a rip on the Japanese site, elito.com, same as cosplayinjapan.com is a rip on cosplayjapan.com, a long established site. According to the wording of MG's own notice they are in violation of cyber-squatting the above names, I think. Odd how shit happens innit? |
I think Mike put it well. They are slaughtering the business and if that wasn't bad enough, they have to strong arm domains

I've gotten three...whee! :P
{NOT any of my domains are close...just repetitive emails....} |

Just because a webbie was a member of program A some 10 years ago does not justify spam emailing him about regards of program B, C, D, Y that he never joined. |

MG should hire a virtual assistant for 300 bucks a months. At least, those guys know that domain names and urls have very little power left for SEO. |
ok, so i hope it is only for new sites from now, or does it apply also for the years old hard work i have put into promotion and now because they changed their mind i have to shut all down? that cant be for real ... :2 cents:
|
If they send it to your gmail address, just click "This is spam" and pretty soon they wont be able to inbox shit anymore if enough people do it.
