Real answer: As with Dancing With the "Stars" or "Celebrity" Apprentice, these Where Are They Now former "stars" and "celebrities" are addicted to the spotlight and once Gilligan's Island or Growing Pains or whatever is done they cannot handle it so they do ANYTHING to seek the publicity that used to flow over them.
