Hey, video was too long, I 've stopped watching once stampede started, but I was wondering ,was anyone executed until the end? I mean, by police, as usually or by some kid that took mother's gun?

Except that the shovel is in this case large cooking hardware. I see nothing special in this. I have eaten similar "pancakes" in various fairs, although I have paid for it and waited in a line.

They are not fighting actually, they having fun. But yes, they act like animals (in my personal opinion), because from a shovel is disgusting. Course not because they are hungry. They do it because of "Масленица", which is an orthodox Christian religious holiday. Those pictures gone viral in Russia, but I bet there is ton of such people in any country.

P.S. Maybe it's because I believe that ANY religion is an evil.

What is so disgusting with the shovel? I assume they have washed it before use, or brand new shovels. Similarly cooks use unsual items when making any exceptionally large food items.

The only thing with the shovels is that those are same fucking kind low-tech shovels they use in US. Can't you Ruskies or Mericans make decent shovels? What is the deal with those stone age models?

Although I don't know about the shovel thing. I would say that I have eaten from the shovel, but not from my current (portable) shovel, as I use that to dig shit holes and to cover those too. It is pretty much all the digging I do with it.

About Russian mentality (real or not); my dad used to say that Russians are hard opponents because they can dig a hole and live just happily in it. You know, don't require much to be somewhat content. :)

Mericans on the other hand are not as hardy looking folks, if making comparison. It is more like "My Big Mac is stale. Retreat!" :)

I know one guy who was serving in Russian peacekeeping contingent in Kosovo. The nearest KFOR base was American. He told there was a mutual support agreement between those bases, and hat US guys were extremely accurate. Their choppers always came to help... in exactly 30 minutes after the last shot. He said it doesn't matter how long the fight against Albanian Muslims least - 10 minutes or two hours, Russian soldiers could always synchronize their watches by the brave American "support" arrival :)

He told me many other interesting stories. For example, there was some joint operation and the group was need to cross some small river. The American soldiers said hey won't follow the order because water is "too cold for swimming" :)

So after familiarity with the US soldiers, they started to call them "pindos". There is many explanations where this word has came from, but it became popular here right after the Yugoslavian war conflict. Just FYI and nothing personal, of course.
