Why did Rick spontaneously spaz out, followed by a knock out from Michonne? Even if they went with the theme of all characters missing their "wild roots," his level of flip out made zero sense and her response wasn't much better.

AMC has this trend of taking a great show and walking it right off of a cliff. Mad Men did the same thing. It's going to be a struggle watching through this last half season!

My wife and I said the same thing after it was done. Even if he lost his cool which I could see in a post apocalyptic scenario, I thought those guys all had each others back. For Michonne to haul off and knock him out seemed extreme and out of character.

They need to just take that shit over and be done with it. What's up with the serial killer running around in the woods?

Haven't they been playing Michonne's "We need this, I need this" return to civility for some time? The whole last season she struggled with her humanity and you could see that to was starting to break when she saw herself zombified. I think they are playing up the "who can adjust back to a normal life" plot line. Obviously Carol can't, well she can pretend to better than all of them. Rick doesn't seem to be able to. Darryl is on the fence, and Michonne really really want's to make it work

She thinks she wants it to work. Her woodland adventure showed off who she really is.

These last few episodes feel like they were written by an alien writing a thesis on human interaction -- and failing miserably.

I think it seems kinda obvious that he likes the woman and that guy beating her up, is what made him flip. He finally had enough is my guess after seeing the guy walking around after having beat her up again.


What I find ironic though is they show a "naked" woman tied to a tree with her guts ripped out to her spine.. Yet better make sure the rope covers them titties and the guts cover that vag because that's improper to see titties & vag on network TV but blood, guts and head exploding is perfectly fine..

The producers of TWD wants to create at least 7 more seasons... give it a break guys, it's not like it's a good show anyway.

Rick has been just barely holding on for awhile, remember he was completely delusional having imaginary phone conversations at the jail?

But even so I don't think he acted very irrationally, he was holding it together till the guy came at him, I don't know what else he could have done except lose the fight maybe? I mean sure he didn't get too many brownie points for the insane speech, but who can do good PR while high on adrenaline kicking someone's ass and getting smacked around a fair bit in return?

I think Michonne was just diffusing the situation the best she could in the short term since the more he ran his mouth the more he was freaking everyone out, even though he was technically correct about everything.

The show has imploded this season much like the shitty last season of Lost and many other shows. I cannot watch it anymore.

Why not just watch it and enjoy it for what it is, or change the channel.

I thought it was kind of weird that bad-ass alpha Rick, who has been holding his own in the Apocalypse, killing people when necessary in the most brutal ways possible -- was having trouble handling a doctor who hits girls and been living safely behind 20 foot walls all this time.

Logic says, Rick could handle that guy easily -- but this episode was written by a chick, so that might explain the logic thing not being taken into account.

Also, you can't silence an AR15. It would still have a pretty loud report.

I thought it really helped to see what is really in his mind? The things he has witnessed to get to the tipping point would drive any sane man to the edge, he found his.

As for Michonne, well that chick hung her sword and is done with chaos......I would have wished only her to have intervened? Anyone else would have been a threat.

That girl would be considered a catch, even if it wasn't the Apocalypse. Dr Pete is lucky some guy hasn't killed him to claim her for his own -- which is what Rick was basically going to do.

Keep in mind Rick is only as tough as his writer wants him to be. Which is kind of lame!


I think, (hope!) the season finally writes all of the wrongs that went down this season. Kinda slow, but not so bad. Could be worse.

I agree with bronco here. However i suspect they are setting up a situation where they have to ask Rick to take over. With the serial killer bringing all the zombies to town or some other danger.

From the preview, it looks like he is being banished. But where would that leave baby Judith? Those idiots don't deserve that place and Rick needs to take what's his. The 20 foot walls, and the sugar walls.

Next week is the last for a while - a good 90 minutes, I can't wait :)

He's got the right idea, but he was going about it the wrong way. Those people were definitely on the path to dying living the way they are.

Hmm I thought Michonne knocked Rick out before he brought things over the edge and Rick's group would have had to fight the townspeople right then and there... she wasn't ready for that yet. We'll see next episode.

Daryl not... but Sasha yes... just complete the cast in last episodes... nothing special from her... so... feed the walkers...

It's funny that Carl was actually in the fucking house when that fight was going on. He's never been in the house any other time.

Michonne knocking him out was a friendly act.... stopping him before he did or said anything even more stupid.
