Swedish police officers break up New York subway fight

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

NEW YORK, April 24 (UPI) -- A quartet of Swedish police officers visiting New York were caught on camera breaking up a subway fight on their way to see a Broadway musical.

Stockholm police officers Erik Naslund, 26, Samuel Kvarzell, 25, Makrus Asberg, 25, and Eric Jansberger, 28, were on the northbound 6 train at the Bleecker Street stop Wednesday just before 5 p.m. when the conductor came over the loudspeaker and asked if any police officers were on board the train.

I guess not everyone who says "I can't breathe", and the officers don't let him up, dies.

There is a difference between anxiety and smothering someone to death. As you can see, these Swedish polices didn't form a pile on him; just holded his hand back.

Yes, in Merica it is forbidden to help others. If you see someone getting beated, knifed, etc., it is forbidden to help. I know this as I studied this thing for that citizenship test. :)

Yes, especially as the police started the whole fight where that Godzilla died. The Godzilla just standed there, and was previously suspected for very hard felonies; like selling loose cigarettes. Come on.. loose? Not even bundled? That is one fucking hard felony.

He had 30 prior arrests and its illegal to sell loose sigs. Which part of it you have difficulty to comprehend? Illegal. Do you want me to spell it out for you?

OMG; illegal?! Then it is serious shit. I have broken law today and I don't know how many times (or what counts as a one breaking). Luckily I am not in US where I would probably get killed based on that I could have been breaking a law. In here we have different laws those have different punishments; none has death penalty on the spot, or altogether.

Don't you have fines in US or something? US can't be that much of a third world shithole that selling loose cigarettes would be some massive felony. Or if it is, you can forget that first world country shit, as then first world country shit won't even smell to that far.

What those previous arrests have anything to do with this? Or even selling the loose cigarettes, as if I remember correctly, he didn't sell those at the moment of arrest?

Far-L 04-25-2015 12:38 PM

Norwegian off duty cops probably would have done an even better job though. :winkwink:

That population in prison thing is actually quite shocking. It seems that the answer to problems in society is "We need more prisoners."

These have something in common. I think that at the good times they have thought that they can afford more prisoners, instead of improving the society. :)

klinton 04-25-2015 12:57 PM

the answer is simple why is it like that: prisons are privatized and needs to make money...
now, European guys - welcome and kneel down to TransAtlantic Trade and Inverstment Partnership :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Ok, one more time for stupids - its illegal and he had done it before and was told not to do it. Its illegal to feed seagulls and if you do it over and over again something is going to happen. In third world shithole you can probably piss on asidewalk, sell unlicensed home made booze. Here you can't - health regulations as well as just simply braking the law. I can't care less how you do it in finland or zimbabwe. I don't live there, I live here.

klinton 04-25-2015 03:37 PM

in 3rd world shithole ? :winkwink:

Yes, it is illegal. But in first world countries laws are to serve citizens, not to make life miserable. As the purpose is to serve citizens, it also means that the punishments and the whole process when enforcing the law, is proportionate to what the law is trying to achieve. You know, it is not proportionate to nuke someone selling loose cigarettes, to prevent someone getting common cold from those cigarettes.

Selling some loose cigarettes is "nothing". Give the guy 20 dollar fine, it is probably more than he will make for selling the loose cigarettes in a whole week. Don't your police have anything else to do, than harass people about selling loose cigarettes? Fine him once in a week and his business goes under. You don't have to kill him.

He was punished 30 times before. Obviously not hard enough to stop doing this over and over again. Your "but in Finland/Serbia/Kathmandu" shit is getting old. He died because of his preexisting condition and untreated asthma. Even his family said so. So please stop with same old bullshit. I get it, no matter what we do its all no good and you can do it better. Good for you. Next time someone like Breivik kills 60 people in finland sentence him to minimum security prison with PS4 and 56 inch TV in his room for 12 years. That would average to 2.4 month per victim.

eipstudios 04-25-2015 05:20 PM

The Death Penalty for such small crimes in America are only for Minorities.
Just the way they like it.

It really doesn't even matter what were his sentences before, as this thing is essentially about the arrest situation. And police could and should have handled it better from the very beginning. Read again what I said about using proportionate methods.

Yes, Finland doesn't have some eye for eye system. We leave that for muslims and USA. Though I don't know where you got the numbers, but not that many spend more than 14 years in prison.

Also, I don't that think you do everything wrong. I have myself learnt much about some USA practices and things; about those you do well, not the shitty ones (otherwise than don't do like that).
