No Threads about Baltimore Cops Charged?
You all are slacking.
Or I didn't read the board close enough. ;) |
Seems they know exactly how his back was broken but they aren't making it public using the trial as the excuse. If they are doing that, then you know damn well it's something bad that will cause further unrest..

There is a laundry list of charges, for sure. The ME calling it a homicide is pretty chilling, when combined with the "depraved-heart murder" charge.

Theo posted an interesting link that might explain what happened in the back of the police van.

While they are, without a doubt, innocent until proven guilty, none of it sounds good. Especially that unreported stop. |

What about the other guy in the van that said he heard dude thrashing himself against the side of the van "trying to hurt himself"? But either they want to make an example out of the cops to stop the riots and calm people, or they snapped his back and know it.

So by believing him about the ride you also believe his account of Gray deliberately hurting himself? |

The other guy didn't get in till the 3rd stop of 4. He has also told two different stories. It sounds like this guy was given a deal to tell police that it sounded like he was trying to harm himself and they didn't do nuffin like a "rough ride" |

With no charges against him, I'm guessing they promised him something and then he decided to tell the truth the second he was out of Baltimore lockup. Meanwhile, the FOP is making themselves look pretty ridiculous at this point. They don't know when to shut up. They put up a GoFundMe page trying to raise $600k for the officers. It was quickly yanked because you cannot fundraise for someone charged with a "heinous crime." |

If I was a property owner in Baltimore, I'd be selling...real soon.
If those cops are acquitted...that place won't be fit to live for a dog. It'll look like an apocalyptic war zone. Doesn't look good either way you slice it. The rioters and looters will think they were responsible for the charges being laid against the cops. That'll empower them even more next time. |

I use to go to Baltimore all the time, Lexington Market, National Aquarium, Aircraft carrier and German Submarine tours, Camden Park baseball, the infamous "Block" ?? But there was always the strange vibe only found in a city with a huge amount of drug addicts and asshole thugs. . |
