At what point did 'Entourage' jump the shark for you?
 

Re-watched all 8 series box-sets back to back over the last few days... Very good until Turtle started seeing the soprano girl.

It wasn't so much that actual storyline that did it for me, but around that point in timeline of the show.

I'm still looking forward to the movie in the summer though :thumbsup

When I think about it - every series tend to go to shit when more "love stories" are involved.

I liked most of the seasons. Maybe when Vince got popped with the coke - I wasn't diggin it as much during those episodes. It just got weird for me.

I don't really remember the details per episode / serie, I watched it some time ago. But I enjoyed it (especially Ari's character) :)

It never has. I very rarely watch TV, Entourage is an exception.

The whole Vince bangng a pornstar and taking drugs shit was pretty dumb but an accurate portrayal of certain hollywood actors so you can see why they did it. I still love the show and can't wait for the movie, I hope it's as good as the cast are hyping it up to be tho.

It never jumped the shark because the storyline is always roughly the same. They're trying to do a movie, if it doesn't work out Vince's career will be ruined and they'll have to go back to Queens, it works out, all is good.

But that's what makes the show great. The storyline doesn't matter. The point of the show is to just watch 4 normal guys 'make it' and live the life the majority of us fantasize about. Rich, single, living in Hollywood, driving great cars, banging hot chicks, celebrity cameos, friends talking shit.

Really looking forward to the movie. :thumbsup

Anything that showcases Hollywood, LA or anything to do with southern California is complete, never-ending, unavoidable, self-absorbed, clueless SHIT.

I agree. I enjoyed the show and I will see the movie (although likely wait for DVD) and for me it never jumped the shark, but it gets a little repetitive.
