Actress and Comedian Anne Meara, Mom of Ben Stiller, Dead at 85
 

Her husband, Jerry Stiller, and son Ben Stiller on Sunday released a statement to the Associated Press saying Meara died Saturday, but provided no other details. The statement described Jerry Stiller as Meara?s ?husband and partner in life? and said ?the two were married for 61 years and worked together almost as long.?

Had no idea she's Ben Stiller's mom! I remember seeing her a million times, but not exactly where - except a Jack Lemmon movie, ALF tv show and Mary Tyler Moore. But I'm sure she's been in everything, like her hubby...

Stiller and Meara were comic genius. Their kid is afterbirth but maybe his kids will match grandpa and grandma. RIP, Ms. Meara. Thanks for a life time of laughter.
