Sage advice/life hack for anyone who drives a vehicle and wants less hassle from traffic cops
 

If you drive a truck then great but if you don't then sell your car and buy a truck . I don't see a logical reason why anyone would ever not own a truck. I mean what do you do on a Friday night when you are out with your lady friend and don't have anything to go 4 wheeling in???? So after you buy a truck just buy one of those large orange rotating lights at the auto parts store. I paid about $100. You run the cord into the passengers side door and plug it into your power point/lighter.

I promise you that cops will just tune you out. You can get away with a lot of things other people can't because the cops see you as a construction vehicle or someone who contracts with the city for maintenance or whatever. Seriously these cops just wave at me all the time or just completely tune me out.

As much as I love getting out of traffic tickets it is much more pleasant to just avoid them. No you cannot speed with these lights but you can do a lot of other things like pull over anywhere, do U turns, or if you want to park in a no parking area.

This one is cheap but if you want to spend a little more than get a halogen version so it visible in bright sunlight.

Depends on what city you're in.

Here, we call those 'come-get-me-lights'. You'd be ticketed with those in a no parking area.

You could also just drive whatever kind of car you want, but not drive like and asshole and therefore avoid trouble with the cops.

That was logic less thinking. Sorry bud, but to invest all that time and effort buying products to avoid coppers, you should just put your seatbelt on, drive legally and happily.

Do you still do that job? No offence but I couldn't live with myself as a parking inspector, about as bad as the people in the mobile speed camera vehicles.
