What shows are you into?

Just got into "Silicon Valley" myself. Pretty funny. I need to go back and watch the older episodes.

Already watched all the "House Of Cards".

Choopa Phil 06-10-2015 10:06 AM

Silicon Valley is great just because it applies so much to our industry. Its great to be able to relate to a lot of whats going on in the show.

AdultKing 06-10-2015 10:10 AM

Current Shows:

Game of Thrones
Babylon
Better Call Saul
Doctor Who

Ended Series

Breaking Bad
The IT Crowd
Spooks (MI5 in the USA)

stopitbrrruce 06-10-2015 10:10 AM

Wayward Pines is really good so far.

Pseudonymous 06-10-2015 10:12 AM

Orange Is The New Black is about to return! Great show.

Suits is returning very soon

Youre The Worst is another good lesser known comedy, its returning for a 2nd season (i think this summer? not sure the date though)

Aquarius is VERY good, love david duchovny since Californication. You guys will like it if you liked True Detective

rhon23 06-10-2015 10:12 AM

EddyTheDog 06-10-2015 10:13 AM

i enjoyed Breaking Bad and Black Sails

CurrentlySober 06-10-2015 10:27 AM

I've tried to get into a few shows, but apparently I needed an agent and acting experience and silly stuff like that so I gave up... :(

Pseudonymous 06-10-2015 10:28 AM

And is it just me or is the main guy in Silicon Valley the most unlikable person on the planet, i know hes supposed to be awkward, but theres been a ton of awkward characters in tv shows who dont do well in social situations who have been likable characters. if he lost his company and everybody else on his team took over, would you be disappointed? I wouldn't

Yea, I like the porn episode. All those people in suits sitting around with something like "pooponwife.com" or "skullfucktube.com" written on their desk.

MiamiBoyz 06-10-2015 01:55 PM

I Love Lucy!

loreen 06-10-2015 02:07 PM

I couldn't get myself to like Silicon Valley. I prefer Big Bang Theory :)

Some of my favorites are
  • Curb your enthusiasm
  • Louie
  • The big C
  • American Dad / Futurama / Family Guy
  • Shameless (US)
  • Please Like Me
  • Transparent

TisMe 06-10-2015 02:53 PM

Shameless, House of Lies, Episodes, Ray Donovan and Deadliest catch.

2MuchMark 06-10-2015 03:08 PM

Marvel's Angest of Shield is the only show I cannot miss. Flash is OK. I liked Orange is the New Black but am kind of tired of it now.

nm_ 06-10-2015 03:40 PM

arrested development, silicon valley, broad city, breaking bad when it was still on

SilentKnight 06-10-2015 03:43 PM

I don't watch TV any longer - except the occasional Big Bang Theory with the wife (her favorite show).

Same here. I'm not defending reality TV, but it totally made me lose interest in drama. I'm sure these shows are well written and everything, but they're not real life and they'll go the same way as the theater.

Currently working my way through every UK reality police series on Youtube.

dyna mo 06-10-2015 04:02 PM

America's Got Talent.

fantastic 10th season, just kicked off, super entertaining.

candyflip 06-10-2015 04:10 PM

Silicon Valley is the only show I'm watching that's still going.

Some others I like:

Brooklyn Nine Nine
Portlandia
The Goldbergs
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
iZombie
Orphan Black
Kroll Show
Ray Donovan
Workaholics
Anything on HGTV
Better Call Saul
True Detective
Star Wars Rebels

kane 06-11-2015 04:16 AM

Game of Thrones
Silicon Valley
Amy Schumer
Halt and Catch Fire
Hannibal -- the only network show with a cable show feel

Oh no, I've seen every episode on DVD but that's when I stopped watching it during regular programming hours. And yeah that was pretty good timing on my part because season 3 was horrible. Season 4 was OK, but didn't come anywhere close to re-capturing the epic awesomeness of seasons 1-2.

bronco67 06-14-2015 08:23 AM

glad too see there's some people watching Halt and Catch Fire.

BAKO 06-14-2015 08:45 AM

I love Ray Donovan. Otherwise it's Homeland, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and NCIS Los Angeles or whatever that one is called.

Should peep Wentworth. :2 cents:

SBJ 07-29-2015 08:21 PM

I just started watching Halt and catch fire this season and love it. I watched the whole season one in one sitting.

other shows
izombie
castle
Nashville
street outlaws
fast and loud
mr robot
complications (really good)
Aquarius
bar rescue
duck dynasty (not as good the last few seasons but still watchable)
ncis new orleans
ncis
criminal minds

I think that is most of the shows I DVR along with other car shows when nothing else is on.

Paul Markham 07-30-2015 03:31 AM

At the moment.

Not Safe for Work
Wolf Hall
Humans
Poldark
Indian Summers
Banished
The Interceptor

See them here.

The Brink
Wayward Falls
Aquarius
Walking Dead (only if it's the last season and comes to a conclusion. Like a lot of US series they go on to long and become boring)

Which is a problem for the US. West Wing, Mad Men, The Good Wife, Sex in the City, Game of Thrones, etc. They start to repeat themselves with the same story, just a different place. Comedies are the worst culprits.
