Is 'GoSee' a new thing

In the last month I have noticed photographers using the term 'GoSee'.

I have not heard of this before.

A quick google suggests its a term used for a model doing a test shoot.

Is 'GoSee' a new word or has it been around for a while?

You hear it a lot on Americas next top model and other shows like that. Been around for a long ass time. Yes my wife makes me watch that show, so what!
