New Office Chair recommendations?

Im on the hunt and Im always indecisive about these things.

Ive been contemplating getting one of those mesh chairs because it was surprisingly comfortable to sit in but my main concern would be life span. Do they stay taught? Do they wear out quick?

I can always go with the leather look but sometimes the cushioning goe sout on those too.

What are your experiences and preferences with either?

My ass has been planted for 10 hours nearly every day in the same Aeron that was a few years old when I got it 10 + years ago.

I replaced the lumbar support and a locking bolt for the armrest in all that time, nothing else.

You can close the thread now.

I lust after an Aeron. What model did you get? I've got to have a new chair soon.

Mine's a medium Aeron, with adjustable armrests and lumbar support.

A medium is just barely big enough for me, if I ever replaced it I would probably go with the large, but this one was a gift and I won't get rid of it until it falls apart, which it looks like may never happen.

Coolness. I appreciate that info. I have some Aeron's in my bookmarks that I keep going back and forth looking at.

I think I will bite the bullet this year.
