Ah, yes. Magic Mike. Two years ago on this day, Magic Mike was deemed the greatest thing since sliced bread. Deemed ?The Cinematic Event of the Year? by the oh-so-trustworthy Jezebel, it was all my girlfriend would talk about for weeks on end. Thus, being the chivalrous man I am, I brought her to the opening.

Needless to say, the second the lights in the theatre dimmed and a very nude Channing Tatum popped onto the screen, the almost entirely female (save for the three dudes with their girlfriends who looked like they just wanted to be playing Starcraft) audience went wild. There was catcalling, jeering, and cheering alike. I was astounded by how the men on screen were being treated. Since when was openly objectifying someone politically correct? Is this whole harrumph about gender discrimination only pertaining to females?

If you asked most people, they?d probably get pissed off and go on a rant about how women are constantly objectified and some gobbledygook about male supremacy, and if you say otherwise you are a sexist, misogynistic pig who lives in his parent?s basement.

Everything is a double standard. At my local sports centre they have been running a ladies morning / womens only wednesdays when all the fatty-lard-asses are encouraged to go along and be fat away from male eyes. Men cannot attended on wednesday mornings.

This is apparently an excellent idea and is apparently well attended...

Recently the idea was floated for a men only morning - So fatty-lard-asses like myself could go and display a huge gut without women looking and commenting about how fugly and out of shape we are...

Never got off the planning stage tough, ad it was immeadtly decried as sexist as the women shouldn't be told when they are allowed to use the facility by men !

Yup makes no sense but there you go - Women win !

It's a woman's thing to have a problem with being sexually objectified, being the fairer sex. Any male who has a problem with the same behavior needs to check his nuts.

All of these so-called pro male movements who cry about men's rights, and feminine action movie heroes, or being objectified should take off their dress. I welcome any woman (or even better a large group of women) to objectify me in a sexual way, and then gangbang me.

Feeling threatened by women is what other women do. It's not a guy's job.
