I had to laugh at the scene where the guy is chasing them on foot - like the badgers are just playin' a game with him.

I wouldn't want to tangle with one of those critters.

I'm guessin' he might've herded them somehow...but I'd be thinking - hell, just let'em go...too much trouble.

I remember as a kid my cousin and I used to shoot groundhogs at their farm (groundhog holes were a hazard to horses)...with a .303 - and those fuckers would hear the shot and disappear down their hole before the lead reached them. Most of the time we'd have to pour gasoline down the hole and light it up to get rid of them.

They weren't ferocious like a badger or wolverine...but they were pretty smart.
