you laugh but all sorts of hot restaurants these days with no reservations... if I'm dropping a few hundred on dinner I'd pay a bit more and not deal with the hassle

My favorite restaurant has no reservations and a 90 minute wait, any night of the week. I would have no problem paying someone to wait.

This spot trading is strange. If you wait for a phone and buy it for someone that is easy, spot trading is a bit different.
