Does anyone know what happened to Pam's Reviews?

I'm just coming back to the scene after a brief 10 year break, and I'm seeing that the landscape has changed quite a bit in this industry.

Wondering if anyone knows what happened to the Pam's Reviews website?

I did a fair amount of review work for that site, and I can't seem to find it online any more.

Thanks,
-Dino

:)

Pam's Reviews was a top site during its time. It's a shame to see such an institution go away.

I was wondering what happened...

Lol, maybe he meant 10 internet years not real life?

Had to wait and see how the "shakeup" turned out.

In the 90's adult entertainment on the web was a steep upward climb on the charts as far as business went.

That's before affiliates started outnumbering actual content producing sites/owners.

Credit card processors started dropping out like flies, taking down good sites with them, and sponsors explored every traffic skimming tactic they could get away with.

And then, Tumblr, and other "free" (to public) sources of adult entertainment left the profitability to only the larger porn shops.

Not to mention, that, as an original content producer, getting ripped off and fighting hack assaults daily, took the fun out of it.

Watching my best to date web host, Hostgator, melt down in quality, after being bought by EIG, and getting pushed over right up against the NSA spy data centre in Utah, was the mortal bullet.

So, I went back to mainstream brick and mortar (creative services/products) and found a happier balance.

Now, I'm focusing on maintaining more brick and mortar in my adult enterprises, and lightly leveraging the web where it makes sense.

It's amazing how quickly, ten years flies by...

Nope - Real Life Years. :)

It's not that long if you've been mulling around in the biz since 1976.

BTW, I heard back from Pam. She's had a change of course, but she's still around. I really enjoyed working with her.

Hi Paul. Not sure about Net Pond.

Pam ran "Pam's Reviews". The site is offline now.

That was the chick with all the hairy sites.

Seemed to disappear years ago.

Yes that was her. Did anyone actually meet or talk to her? The way she talked about hairy pussies was very much from a man's perspective.
