Is $3 million too much for a tip?
 

I guess tipping 10-20% is old school.

A police detective offered to split a lottery ticket with a waitress at his favorite restaurant in Yonkers, NY in place of a tip. The ticket was a winner worth $6 million, which he split with her without hesitation. The event was made into a movie, ?It Could Happen to You?.

wow, that's a huge tip!

I saw a clip on FB yesterday, a homeless person given some money, he went to a restaurant, had soup. Of course he must have had a bad smell about him, the waitress standing distance away. After he left, clearing the table, the note given to him left for her tip. There is great kindness in this world :2 cents:

However, I would not do that.. i would rather give $100 every time i order a coffee if i was him.
