Nobody EVER paid 80% in taxes. That might have been the law, but nobody with real money in this country ever paid that much.

And back in the times when it was that high...the IRS was a small agency and of course there wasn't any real technology for them to use to keep up with everything.

I can guarantee you that John Rockefeller never paid 80% and he was the richest man in the U.S. in the early 1900's.

The richest man later in history was Howard Hughes. Again, he NEVER paid 80% of his money to the govt.

Think about it crockett. If you paid 80% of your money to the govt., you wouldn't even have any capital to operate the next year and generate more revenue.

I heard an interesting quote that makes sense:
If you want more of something, tax it less. If you want less of something, tax it more.

RT is not about bullshit and lies at all. Course it is a propaganda, and it is a very professional propaganda. In contrast to CNN and Fox which were caught million times on their lies and fakes, RT does it in a different way. It makes an accent on the news that are "not welcomed" by the so-called Western media. So in fact the RT is just compensates of the one-sided propaganda in the States. If I was an American, I would watch RT along with the local news to keep the informational balance.

The same situation happens here. We have a government-controlled news which prices Putin 24/7, and we have independent ones which are happy to report mostly neutral or anti-Putin news. The one have to watch both to get the real picture of what's going on in the country.

It doesn't take surveillance to know if you aren't paying your taxes.
