More Than A Feeling - like you've never heard [video]

I recall sometime last year Mutt started a thread on this guy, Mike Masse. Helluva musician...does some amazing covers.

Watch him blow this classic outta the water. (smokin' hot chick on fiddle, too!)

Crank it! :)

(go fullscreen - the production value on this is top-notch)

Pretty good, although he seems to be doing a Brad Delp impression.

If anyone asked me what the most perfect song ever created is, it would be that song.

I always enjoy a cover that is in a different genre or instrument set up than the original. Fun to see how different people interpret the same song.

that was bad. Real bad. And not the good bad.

I thought the same. The violin parts were great - but then again she's quite an accomplished violinist.

Wow, really well done. He has a great voice, and the violin - well, I love violin in rock songs, so :)

They did a great job on that song.one of my all time favorites

Maybe I should listen again but on the first go round he clearly did not hit the note(s) especially that high note. The video was well done, I agree, maybe I'm super biased against that fiddle. But he was off key to me on first listen.

He was slightly off-key and not hitting the high range at the very beginning...but then seemed to shift gears and nailed it the rest of the way, IMO.

But I loved the old barn setting...the scenario - and the drone shot at the end. Not bad for someone who doesn't have a big corporate record deal or major funding behind him.
