Been friends with Dave for 12 years and I just got off the phone with him.

The agent in question is a guy named "John Stephen Forbush" from Metro Talent.


This guy was trying to Extort Dave for 50K. And if Dave did not pay he was going to out all of the girls on his girlfriends site. lol


Dave laughed and brushed him off as a clown. Then Mr. Forbush told Dave he would not follow on his threat if he could pay him 15k immediately.


Dave once again laughed and brushed him off as a nut job.


There is more to this story that I really cannot disclose, but I did get permission to disclose this.


The funniest thing Dave doesn't own a gun and he was not put in jail.


Not saying Mike South is lying, but I do believe that he was seriously misinformed to further somebodies personal agenda.

The story had been all over the news already when you "broke" it.

Hate to break it to you but your friend flat out lied to you. He damn sure had a gun and was arrested for shooting it. Apparently you don't get that when someone is arrested it becomes part of public record, so trying to deny he was even arrested is just silly because anyone can look that shit up and find out that he was.

And trying to imply the guy John showed up with bullet holes in his car is fucking ridiculous because the neighbors heard the shots and at least two of them have already spoken with the police.

I'm not going to say that John is totally innocent in this mess because we all know that's far from true, but don't try and claim your "friend" wasn't guilty of trying to shoot his ass. Had it not been for the safety being on the gun, Dave probably would have killed him.

Because that's the booking # and not the case number.

So it's too early for there to be a case number or a Class F Felony doesn't fall under the Superior Court's responsibilities?

Well, appears he was arrested for something, bail seems a little low for murder for hire but I have not been arrested for that yet.

That's the strange part - it's actually class "Felony" not class F felony. But once a court date has been set and in this case it has been, there should have been a case number assigned.

So why isn't this one showing up?

And for the record: Mike and I may not always see eye to eye on particular issues, but I do like Mike South, I respect Mike South. He and the other industry bloggers are a good checks and balances system so needed in this industry.

I looked up the LA county bail schedule and it turns out $100k is pretty high. It means that whatever he is charged with, it has the potential for up to a 16 year sentence.

What we can learn from the LA County Bail Schedule is that his crime was pretty bad, however they donâ??t see him facing a life sentence, because then his bail would have been $1 million. Had he been facing charges with a top term of 10 years, then his bail would have been as low as $55,000.

Here are some crimes that he could be guilty of based on what we know of the story so far and the typical bail amount â?¦.

• Battery $50,000
• Attempted Murder $500,000
• Assault with a Firearm $50,000
• Shooting at a inhabited dwelling, building, occupied motor vehicle $250,000
• Discharge of a firearm â?? Gross Negligence $35,000
• Criminal Threats $50,000

So based on this list, I still have no clue what the hell they have charged him with but we can safely guess it wasnâ??t attempted murder because that is a $500k bond and itâ??s more than discharging a firearm because thatâ??s only a $35k bond.
