Paxum withdrawal from expired card

Short: I need to withdraw/transfer funds from my expired card. Is there any option to do that now? Paxum department says no...

Longer: My paxum card expired over 3 months ago with funds on it. I ordered a new one, which was shipped on 2015-11-12. Haven't received it yet. I spoke with paxum department several times regarding this. They said the only way to withdrwar/transfer funds is to wait for new card to arrive. The thing is I need to withdraw/transfer these funds fast. I cannot wait until new card will be prepared and shipped (6-8 weeks) to me (if ever).

I really liked paxum, but from now on I do not trust them so much.

If you need it that fast, you could ask a close friend who also has an active Paxum card and transfer it to his/her account?!

Thank you for a reply. I asked paxum team to do so and got a negative answer.
Still, I just found other older posts on boards that there is a way to transdfer funds to another account. So I am asking paxum again.

The last answer: "The funds cannot be transferred to another user's account from the Paxum MasterCard."

So do not forget to add your money back to checkings before your card expires.

Why do you think there would be "a secret way" of doing things if Paxum support tells you no the first time?

KEYWORD: "the only way"

You think there is a secret button to click and it will magically open up the possibility to transfer? If so, why would they not tell you about that at first?

The problem of not being able to transfer money from card account back into checking account has existed a long time and has been mentioned here many times before. It worked in the beginning but has since several years ago not worked at all. Once you transfer money to card, that's where they are.

But Support will always help in transferring money from expired card onto new card. No problem there.

I fully agree with Adraco.

Well, I read several posts saying it is still possible, but there were not any solutions how to do this. However, I did not check the post dates. As they seem to be kind a old.

1. So you read several posts, by random nick nacks on GFY saying "it's possible".
No one told you how though.

2. You were in recent contact with Paxum Support, they told you "the only way"...

Which one of the above, in your own opinion, seems to be the most reliable source of information on how best to proceed?

It probably was possible at some point point but paxum has changed banks a few times and certain transfers from the Mastercard don't work as they used to.

Paxum has NOT changed the card issuing bank, it has been Choice Bank LTD in Belize all the time. The Mastercards used, have been printed and sent by or from Choice Bank from the start, that has not changed.

What Paxum has changed, is the bank info for sending wire transfers into the system. But that is to fund your Paxum checking account and thus not directly related to the card.

Don't mix things up.

Got mine renewed just fine.

The funds that were in the old card account have been moved to the new card by the bank after a ticket.
