I'm pulling for Carolina but so far Denver deserves to win with all the mistakes Carolina has made.

Not THAT high scoring, sadly.

DEN 16 > CAR 7 end of 3rd quarter.

Denver offense is now playing "not to lose"...and you know what usually happens when teams play that way.

TCLGirls 02-07-2016 08:02 PM

That last fumble could be it for Carolina...

yup that is the ball game and Cam lost the game twice haha.. He fumbled the ball and he clearly pulled up when he could've dove for the fumbled ball and got it back.. what a wimp :1orglaugh

Denver is just adding insult to injury.

I can think of no more deserving guy than Cam to be insulted haha..

I'm torn on who I wanted to win. I live in Indiana and every Colts fan is also a Broncos fan cause of Manning. I hate bandwagon fans that now think they won the super bowl.. No losers, Denver won the super bowl not the colts.

Fantastic defense today for both teams! Congrats broncos.

J. Falcon 02-07-2016 08:29 PM

Glad Manning won and Newton lost.

cosis 02-07-2016 08:37 PM

Shitty and sloppy game filled with no offense from either side.

Did Payton get paid to say he'll be drinking Budweiser tonight? That's twice he did that

get off your high horse. What do you think athletes do after winning the Super Bowl or other championships? They drink and celebrate. But I highly doubt his drink of choice is Budweiser :1orglaugh

Penny24Seven 02-08-2016 05:54 AM

What was with Cam being afraid to pick up the fumble at the end, He acted like it was a hot potato

sperbonzo 02-08-2016 06:01 AM

Budwieser is stating that he is not being paid by them. Maybe he really does drink the stuff... Lots of people do, after all

He committed in his mind to pick the ball up and once he made his last step towards the
ball he was out of position to dive, he actually needed to back up. (he's 6-5 in height)
The ball is at his feet and only inches in front of him.
Put something on the ground inches from your feet and then try and dive on it without
moving your feet backward.
Will not work.

He actually actually got his hand on the ball after backing up but didn't hold it.

You are so full of shit.
If he comes out acting upbeat and not broken then you make a thread about how he doesn't care and is afraid to show emotion.

:1orglaugh

Seriously, a coach gave me major shit for not appearing to be heart broken after losing a game.
I never made that mistake again.

Here's why Peyton Manning embarrassed everyone with his Budweiser marketing

Quote:

See, Peyton Manning is a capitalist. He owns shares in Anheuser-Busch distributorships in his home state of Louisiana, reported Beer Business Daily today.

Nor was it the first time Manning had plugged Bud after a victory. In 2014, he told the press that his only concern was how fast he could get a Bud Light into his mouth.

I think its horrible the NFL requires these guys to do post game interviews. Emotionally Cam and the rest of the Panthers team are devastated after that game. It's fucking retarded they make them go sit in front of the press and get bombarded with loaded questions by reporters who can't hack it in the real journalism world.

NFL is a business, winners and losers get put in the spotlight after a game. It's their job. They being paid millions to play a game. Let's not overreact here.

Tubthumper 02-08-2016 08:46 AM

This SB was very boring - not nearly as exciting as politics - MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

J. Falcon 02-08-2016 09:23 AM

50 Superbowls and not one has gone into overtime. That is pretty strange.

Well... I've never actually started a thread about sports so your first statement is a bit out of left field.

As for the rest, Sorry, but at that level of professional sports I don't expect someone to act like a spoiled crybaby. There are plenty of other athletes out there with just as much pressure, who are often much younger than he is, who accept defeat with grace, like a trooper. I respect his playing ability, but when you are a highly paid professional, then part of your job is also to be in front of the media, and part of being in front of the media is acting like a grown up.

Just my opinion.

Leave it to you to defend any black guy's behavior no matter what he does. Being upset you lost has nothing to do with acting like a little pouting baby after the game. Class-less douche-bag is how the NFL's MVP acted.

And nice spin you put on Newton not trying to recover his own fumble :1orglaugh:1orglaugh Good one! :thumbsup :helpme

dyna mo 02-08-2016 11:19 AM

cam newton is emotionally involved in the game. i've watched a Panther game this season where he handed off a touchdown ball to a kid and the next drive was caught on the mic saying "mother fucking fuck something or other"

and plenty of athletes are not good behind the post-loss interview podium. regardless of the sport.

Newton went into that game expecting to throw touchdowns, run like a mother fucker, dab, and give kids footballs. instead he got the living shit beat out of him by an incredible defense. i'm actually surprised he could put together a cohesive sentence.

I don't know about all those other athletes with equal pressure you are talking about because only one QB in all of football lost the Super Bowl yesterday.

Tons of emotion get pumped into these guys before a game like this.
It's one hell of a emotional tumble when the game is lost and the players are physically beaten, physically hurt and exhausted.

The reporters are talking to someone who's life long dream just crumbled and he is
beaten, exhausted and in pain.
But to you it shouldn't matter because he has a pay check in the mail.
That's how you think; money controls all you are about.
Other people are still struggling with the effects of being human.

You're Mr Big on the sidelines; please just get on the field and show us how Mr Big handles the defeat of a life time.

True dat.

He got sacked 7 times and took some hard hits and that's got to hurt somewhere in him.
