It was a standard Coldplay performance, if you don't like their type of music that's fine, but the performance has nothing to do with it.

Also there wasn't much rap/hip-hop, maybe Beyonce had a few reading lines, everything else was just simple pop.

it's all about marketing.. You know the havetime show is sponsored by Pepsi right? It's got nothing to do with NFL. Who uses social media to tweet the most? Teens do and they don't want to hear 80's rock and roll bands or today's country music. Who buys the most music? Teens do with their parents money.

ATL marketing is not my stuff plus i don't watch superbowl At All so i had no idea the halftime show was this much of an uncontrolled sellout, completely taken over by the sponsor content-wise. maybe it's just me but at least i'd struggle to put on a show that's somewhat related to the main event instead of completely turning it into a kids show :1orglaugh dunno, maybe foo fighters instead of my little pony

It is one of the largest TV audiences all year and the commercials are millions of dollars a minute. You would put anyone up there that kept the TV on. Think of how much they bank on that show....:thumbsup
