Yeah, I know, it's just ... I wasn't trying to call out Mr. Poopguy, I just thought it was hilarious that somebody I blocked so long ago that I'd forgotten why, was still on their same stanky bullshit.

As a rule I don't block anybody for their opinions, I just block people whose every post is shitposting or irrelevant trollery. Over damn near two decades, some of those same people were probably useful conversationalists at some other time, and might be again. But once my patience wears out, it's worn out, and I'm all: :321GFY

Honestly I haven't needed to ignore anybody since the politics finally (years too late) got banished to their own ghetto. I feel like there was a long run there when a few folks were just posting divisive political links to shit up the forums for the purpose of making them unusable. I was really disappointed back in the day when I originally realized that blocking a troll would not hide the threads they started.

Now that I see that 18% of the people on my ignore list are BANNED FOR LIFE I feel reasonably vindicated in my choices.

i know the feeling, i´ve ignored only a few, i feel mature enough not to let people get to me, but then, when i notice the people i´ve ignored are just as much of assholes to other people, i realised it´s not me, it´s them, they´re just assholes :1orglaugh :thumbsup
