He dies in the end

2MuchMark 02-12-2016 07:13 PM

Haven't seen it yet but really looking forward to doing so. I wanted to take my better half to see it for Valentines day but she got mad at the suggestion. Sigh. Next week for sure.

Spunky 02-12-2016 10:18 PM

I had the exact opposite situation. I jokingly asked the girlfriend what she wanted to do for Valentine's day. She responded, "Let's get Pho for dinner then go see Deadpool."

When I realized she was serious I was very happy.

Hahahaha.. that would have been smart. Oh well.

Speaking of Ryan Renolds movies, watch The Change Up is hilarious. If you never saw it, its on Netflix. Really really funny.

dyna mo 02-13-2016 08:31 AM

It's super entertaining.
I'm a huge fan of profanity laced snarkiness and deadpool delivers that in fucking spads too.

As sensitive as you are about the use of the word "fuck", even at goFUCKyourself, you should prolly pass on this movie, it will upset you.

The Porn Nerd 02-13-2016 09:14 AM

I thought it was a Spiderman flick.
Costume looks almost the same.

Oh - and ENOUGH with the superhero comic book action hero garbage. Jesus Christ, how many have there been lately? 50?

mineistaken 02-13-2016 09:23 AM

another comic movie for grown kids?
nico-t, post, lol.

2MuchMark 02-13-2016 09:49 AM

Never mind! Just scored some free tix - going to see it today. Woohoo! Can't wait.

Sly 02-13-2016 12:24 PM

It must be decent, completely sold out in every theater here today.

Isn't it the first day of it in cinemas?

No, it's been out since Thursday night. Aside from that, being completely sold out is rare. We have a lot of theaters.

First weekend sellouts (or not) are about marketing campaign. People do not know if it is good or not during the first weekend, they base their ticket purchases on what they hope it to be based on how good they were convinced by the promotion.

2MuchMark 02-13-2016 08:36 PM

Just got back from it and

(No Spoilers)

It was excellent. It was really funny with tons of really crude jokes, tons of graphic violence, and even some delicious nudity (tits, ass, & shaved vag!). Oh and did you know this is a MARVEL movie? and that Marvel is owned by DISNEY? Congrats Disney for growing a pair!

The movie is a sick ton of fun. It's low budget ($60M which is low for a super hero movie these days) and they make fun of the fact. They poke fun at least 100 times at other movies including other Marvel movies, DC and even Star Wars. It was directed by "Somma Douche!", and it has the trademark post-credit scene too which the entire audience stayed to see.

If you're curious, Deadpool is a part of the X-MEN Universe and not the MCU. However there are hints that Deadpool will join MCU in future instalments.

Everyone laughed, cheered, laughed some more. Great entertainment. Worth seeing and thankfully, did not get a 3D downgrade.

Varius 02-13-2016 09:38 PM

Deadpool was excellent. They found the right balance where someone not familiar with the comics could enjoy every minute of it, while still packing in enough subtlety and quiet one-liners to satisfy the die-hard character/comic fans.

For Ryan Reynolds fans, if you enjoy dark comedies you should give "The Voices" a shot. I found it pretty entertaining.

freecartoonporn 02-14-2016 05:40 AM

imho, way over hyped

its was fun though, there were shitlods of die hard deadpool fans in cinema. cheerin, whistelin ,clapping, laughing.

the only thing i liked most is first action scene which was split in 3-4 parts i guess. but anyways. to each his own.

ilnjscb 02-14-2016 10:52 PM

Funny, if a bit trite. I enjoyed it.

SomeCreep 02-15-2016 02:19 AM

Haven't seen it. Looks stupid.

Tom-LifeSelector 02-15-2016 10:03 AM

One of the best superhero movie! :thumbsup
Ok the No.1 is Watchmen :)

LatinasGoLive 02-15-2016 10:09 AM

I'm going to watch it in 3 hours, you guys have got me excited!!

in2cams 02-15-2016 10:11 AM

Me too me too, go to the cinema tomorrow. No spoilers please

in2cams 02-15-2016 10:13 AM

8.4 at imdb. Why? Superhero? Fiction? No spoilers please. I am going to the movies.

LatinasGoLive 02-15-2016 04:42 PM

No spoilers here, but I just got back from the movies and yes, a very good watch!

The trailers give away most of it anyway. Hilarious script and decent action.

The tease after the credits, not worth the wait (but that's part of the fun. It will make sense when you see it)

Enjoy!

MrBottomTooth 02-15-2016 05:34 PM

Nice to see them do a comic book movie with an r rating. The Pg13 crap they have been churning out has become unwatchable to me.

Daniel Piers 02-16-2016 02:59 AM

The most annoying thing about the film is that - like most of the time - all the best and funniest moments have already been spoiled in trailers. The actions scenes are cool but that's all - nothing really memorable. Don't get all the hype about it - just another comic movie. I'd better watch 'Watchmen' again.

pornguy 02-16-2016 06:09 AM

Saw it last night. Was good. Had some amazingly funny scenes and some of the shit reynolds says are great.

2MuchMark 02-16-2016 07:02 AM

I also watched Fury Road this weekend. Boring! Dead pool was much better.

LatinasGoLive 02-16-2016 07:20 AM

Did anyone see the new dawn or justice trailer in the theatre?

Enjoyed it. Didn't wait for the post credit scenes though...

Darkcrni 02-16-2016 09:47 AM

Nickatilynx 02-16-2016 10:43 AM

LOL! I saw it already you little crybaby. But you knew that too, and tried to lie about it anyway, yet again. You are GFY's biggest liar. I'm sorry that the fact I pointed out that the movie you loved so much because it was "real" because it had "minimal" vfx (that caused you yet another epic public and embarrassing meltdown), isn't loved by all mankind, but thats no reason for you to lie and lie and lie again.

The Movie Network - Movies - Mad Max: Fury Road

And before you get another hard-on, The Movie Network is an included movie service with Bell Fibe, our TV and Internet provider.
