Why is a 720P television pissed off if I try to run 1280x720?
It says resolution mismatch and it's all upset, then, if I set it to "normal" or "unscaled" it has bars on the sides .... It has to be because I only have DVI out adapted to VGA, right? So if I go dig out a fkn video card with HDMI will it be better?
It looks the best at 1366x768 right now The picture looks good but not as good as 720p should Amazon.com: Magnavox 29ME403V/F7 29.0-Inch 720p 60Hz LED TV: Electronics |

I have an old Panasonic Plasma TV that was sold as "720p" and "1080i", yet it also works well in 1080p, though somehow not quite as clear as 1080i. Anyway, I use it as a second monitor in a make-shift home studio. I connect my Mac laptop to it via the Thunderbolt - to - PCI Cable, not HDMI, and it works just fine.

Update to COAX V4.85. It's better than HDMI.
