Summer in Cyprus
Looking to spend a week in July in Cyprus, any recommendations? Ayia Napa looks very nice, but is rather expensive compared to Limassol or Larnaca.
What do you guys recommend? We're two couples and looking to have a good time, clubs, nice beaches, etc... Thanks :thumbsup |
i would recommend Lesbos.

I only been to Limassol which is a cute city, pretty nice to spend a few days, night life was great, good restaurants, mediterranean/greek food at its best. Just make sure to go to the Greek part of the island, i would personaly not even consider the Turkish part of the island... |
We have checked out a few places in the southern (Greek) part. We stayed for a few days in Larnaca and visited Ayia Napa - the beach is simply beautiful there, then we moved to Paphos, however the beach is rocky there, and there aren't that many places to go in, opposite to Larnaca where you have a nice long sandy beach. However I'm not sure about the night life

But fuck I miss Cyprus, its really a beautiful place if you dont want to go outside EU..

This is the first time I see somebody spelling that out :) |
Don't stay in Larnaca. It's too boring there. Not much to do.
Ayia Napa is the place where most tourists go in the summer. It's very loud though, as lots of young Britons come to party all day long. Protaras is next to it and it's a great place, preferred by locals. |

I would recommend you to visit in June since July is way hotter so you wont enjoy it

So i take it Limassol would be a nice mix between Ayia Napa and Larnaca? What about transportation? Do they have non stop busses or something to drive you around or only / if taxies?
Is Limassol the best place to be at for nice beaches and parties? |
