its not paint its plastidip it peels off once its dried

I'm thinking about doing my car this colour to much cheaper than getting it painted properly

I love it but hate the black rims.. Not a fan of all blacked out..

Not a fan of the color. Might look better with several coats of clear gloss lacquer.

I like that idea - All fun in the summer and serious in the winter...

I Plastidipped the front of my truck during love bug season last year. I used black plasti and sprayed it on the hood and bumper etc.. It was flat black and it looked pretty damn good. And when the bugs were gone, I just peeled it off like it was a layer of skin. You can buy it at Home Depot for $5.00 a can. Or get it done right at a shop. It's pretty good stuff.

1) They didnt 'dip' it - They sprayed it...

2) Why did I just waste 7 mins watching someone spray a car orange?

3) I like poo

Is it durable though? Will it stay on for years or will it peel off eventually (because of sun/rain/general wear that normal car paint gets)?

It's not a long term solution. If you get it done from a shop who specializes in it, you'll get a year or two.

Plastidip is great until you get a single drop of gas on your "paint" when filling up at the pump.

Plastidip is great. I did the chrome emblems on my new truck with it, made them black.
