i have back pain from sitting at the computer all day and motrin isn't cutting it any more. someone told me fentanyl worked really well for pain. anyone use it here?

Never used it because more it's more potent than morphine and I don't want an opiate monkey on my back. Find a nice Hybrid Cannabis strain instead.

Motrin is a brand. Are you taking their ibuprofen or naproxen product? Typically the naproxen would be a slightly better choice for back pain, and I would combine it with aspirin. You could also try combining ibuprofen with acetaminophen as an effective combo which are safe together as well. Do not take naproxen with ibuprofen.

Assuming this is a serious post...you wont get a Fentanyl scrip for back pain so it isnt even worth asking. My advice get up and walk around some,...got to the gym and do an hour or so of low/no impact exercises (stationary bikes, cross trainers, arc trainers.

You will be surprised how quickly the pain dissipates

The local paper listed the coroner's rulings on recent deaths. I was shocked to see all the ODs that had Fentanyl plus another drug listed as cause of death

LOL what he said. You are going from 1 to 100 in one shot. Unless you know your doctor well if you walk in there and say hey hook me up with some fentanyl you would probably throw up enough rad flags that he would tell you to go drink some kool-aid and hope you just go see a new doctor

I was told there was this diet pill great for energy. My dumbass doctor gave me a script like it was no big deal, Well one pill and I was washing the ceiling with a fucking tooth brush because I had already mowed the lawn double cut to give it the look of a professional golf course like the Masters, changed the oil in all the cars. Did the laundry and even the clean clothes that didn't look clean enough. The whole house was shining, I did enough work for a week and it wasn't even noon yet. I look up the pills and they are pretty much legal meth:1orglaugh:1orglaugh yeah I got a lot done but crashed so hard I slept for 16 hours straight.

I like the printed warning on the box which says this drug may cause Death.
Yes I have some of the patches and yes it does say that on the box.
Along with this warning:
Accidental exposure to a new or used patch (either by getting it on the skin or in the mouth) may cause serious and sometimes fatal side effects.

So YES it may cure your back pain, but it may also cure you of everything else ;-)

Get some exercise to fix your back pain.

My 19 yr old nephew died of an OD on Fentanyl. Stay far away from that stuff! Its for terminally ill cancer patients.

Go see a doctor, find a better chair/working position & get some exercise

I knew a girl that died from that stuff. It is extremely powerful, so if you do get it, be very careful with using it. Although, I highly doubt that the doc will write a prescription for it though.

I didn't see the big deal with it but I had a decent tolerance. The main selling point of Fentanyl is the time release patches which allow you to stick it on your body and get up to 72 ? hours of pain relief (I never bothered with the lolipops). Doctors aren't going to prescribe it to a non-tolerant opiate person, they will put you through trying other things first.

I don't know why media tries to compare just Fentanyl to heroin - opiates are opiates and it doesn't matter if you're using something as small as vicodin. In my opinion Fentanyl doesn't even come close to even a good scramble cap of dope in strength though.

Opiate addiction sucks though so if you don't need anything strong don't go for it!
