Ever work so long that your personal hygiene goes to shit?

Then, have to make your staff supply food and money to your house?

BJ 05-23-2016 06:06 PM

and then you give them a raise to compensate to erase their memory?

I worked out of my bedroom for a month before coding a custom CMS. Didn't leave the house at all, didn't shave at all, showered once in awhile when the balls felt greasy as fuck. Zero fucks back then.

I have a good sized office, 13 employees. I never go. I am respectful enough to give such tasks to people on shift.

But, they see some weird shit, like a boss who can grow a marginal beard and and answers the door in basketball short s and no shirt and smells from a distance.

I do clean up nicely, whick is a +

I think my best run was back in 1999 or 2000 when I worked for about 48 hours straight and realized at the end of it not only was delirious from being tired, but I hadn't showered in about four days and stunk. I took a long, hot shower, crawled in bed and slept for about 12 hours then got back at it.

Only a few times when launching new site/business. Think 2-3 days max of stank nasty though.

I was talking about my actual children who I send to bring back food and monies =)

I'm not rich enough to just have staff floating around my house, so I had to work with what I had and train them right.

Well it was the start of a business that ended up making around $80k a month. I guess that's how I justified it. I definitely don't do that anymore, the wife doesn't enjoy it.

This is precisely why when we have hackathons we do them at hotels in nice locations and not from the office. Nobody wants a stinking office. :1orglaugh

Never worked that hard ever. No need to work if you work clever.

Some people enjoy work Paul. Especially if it involves solving lots of problems and building something amazing.

When I was in the Marines.... In the field we could go a week or two without a shower. It was interesting.

I thoroughly enjoy work when I feel like doing it. And when I feel like doing it, I'm great at it and I work hard, day and night.

But when I'm gone - I'm goneeeeeee and I enjoy life!

My friend in the Navy said that someone wore the same underwear for a month or two, then his hair started to grow through it and he couldn't take them off without shaving... :Oh crap

You have hairy interesting friends

CurrentlySober 05-24-2016 10:24 AM

I find the terms 'Work' and 'Personal Hygiene' to be confusing... If I had the slightest experience of either of those things, I might be able to answer... :(

romeo22 05-24-2016 10:40 AM

i know to make total mess in my house but when someone call me to come in my house i need at least 20min to clear it

Sednub997 05-24-2016 03:12 PM

im getting lazy these days so my room is full with staff that need to be care of

SBJ 05-24-2016 08:03 PM

nope.. Sure there use to be days where my lunch tv dinner and dinner was left at my desk if I had a 16+ hour day but I always found that a shower after 12 hours of work helps refresh you and gets you re motivated even when you are tired. :2 cents:

Spunky 05-24-2016 08:06 PM

Hell no,if you can't take 10 minutes to have a shower, something is wrong with you
