As the media has so many different opinions, which one do you follow and why has it got you fooled?

This is a serious question. Online I can read media stretching from the very Far Right to the very Far Left. I can Google and verify facts from different sides.

Only an idiot believes one source, except those in places like N. Korea which is cut off to keep its citizens in the dark relying on one source for information.

People have been whining about the the press, or now called the 'media', long before you were born. There is plenty of Liberal or Right Wing themed media to go around -- the choice is yours what to believe ...

I believe it is virtually all weaponized now plus consolidated so it serves no other function than inciting war. You can't advocate total freedom of the press and not acknowledge the banned books barry. It's two sides to the same coin. Freedom for some is freedom for none.

Yes, Government Spending could be slightly lower, for instance, a strong law to hit employers and landlords of illegal aliens, high tariffs on goods from the Third World, less spent on farm subsidies etc. The result would be higher prices. And still, the US would be running a huge deficit. But someone has herded you into thinking you pay too much in taxes. The herders are those who are often feeding off Government Spending. Like the Arms Industry.

The media is and always will be a tool for those who wish to influence society. Where once it was controlled, now everyone has the ability to use it. So I would disagree with the OP because just as it can be used for bad, it can also be used for good.

You should focus less on the what and more on the why Markham. The media is only able to incite terror because it coexists alongside hardcore censorship. Anything else is semantics.

It means there was no "north" and "south" Korea until 1945, when they were divided by the US, Britain, Soviets and China. That expounds on my statement that even though you take refuge in the fact that "we are not North Korea"; they were not either until they were. We could be under a dictatorship next year, and so could you. And neither of us would survive more than 6 months in such circumstances.
