Using a .tv domain for a tube site What do you guys think about using a .tv domain for a tube site? I've seen a decent number of tubes recently that use it. Do you think it looks stupid/unprofessional? What would you say is better? Using a longer (10+ letters) .com domain or a shorter, more memorable .tv domain? Do you know any big tube sites using this tld? I'm having trouble finding any short or catchy domains for a particular niche and I'm thinking about maybe using a .tv domain. What would you recommend? |

Its always better using com domain, but if you are serious about the site and going to work hard on content, seo etc then theres no problem using tv domain. |

Haven't seen too many tubes on .tv domains. I personally prefer .com/.net instead of anything else, even if we're talking about the new TLD's. |

I would go with .com unless it's really great (one word/EMD) .tv domain. |

[niche]pornclips.com [niche]clips.tv [niche]vids.tv Which one would you pick? I'm thinking that the .tv domains would attract more type-in/return traffic because, well, they're easier to type in and remember. |

I'd go with the .tv. |

If i you i will go to .com. |

It is still pretty new tld and I am sure you can still find a decent .com domain, just be creative. |

.tv is great for good quality tubecontent (HD) |

.tv is good. I own some great ones. |

With the right content, name and branding -- the TLD (.tv) is fine |

You should factor in the cost of a .TV domain name. They are significantly more expensive than other TLD's. You may catch a break on the initial registration but the renewals will be full price. |
