Secret Service Forced Trump Meeting Today RE Hillary Assasination Comments

Is it good he's being held accountable for his actions?

---

?Words matter, my friends, and if you are running to be president or if you are president of the United States, words can have tremendous consequences. Yesterday, we witnessed the latest in a long line of casual comments from Donald Trump that crossed the line,? she said.

?His casual cruelty to a Gold Star family, his casual suggestion that more countries should have nuclear weapons, and now his casual inciting of violence. Every single one of these incidents shows us that Donald Trump simply does not have the temperament to be president and commander in chief of the United States.?

In a potentially ominous development, the Secret Service has reportedly spoken with the campaign of Donald Trump over a controversial remark in which he appeared to propose shooting his rival Hillary Clinton.

A major US broadcaster said that officials from the agency, one of the country's oldest federal law enforcement bodies and responsible for the security of the president, along with the two presidential candidates, had spoken with the campaign several times. CNN said the move followed a speech on Tuesday about the Second Amendment in which Mr Trump appeared to say the only way to stop Ms Clinton from appointing liberal judges if she were elected president would be to kill her.

He has secret service agents assigned to him as a candidate so he meets with them every day.

You're saying the forced meeting was with his SS protection detail only? Link to back that up please?

Your link/quote/article says "has spoken with the campaign several times" so your title is completely misleading to begin with... I'm quite sure they wouldn't send special investigators on such a silly remark only to satisfy a bunch of pansies with their panties in a wad.

Ok you have no proof of your claim.

You are like typical GOP, say untrue things, when caught in lie distract :2 cents:

umm you're the one claiming they "met" with him. I on the other hand am reading what the actual article says. My initial comment is also very true. So now that we have concluded you are the Hillary in this discussion where is your proof they "forced a meet" with him personally on this matter alone?

The news is reporting the Secret Service spoke to Trump about this today. Trump's people deny this. Who do you think the public is going to believe?

Trump does this all the time. He makes vague statements and allows the listeners to make up their mind about exactly what he said. For anyone other than a presidential candidate this is fine. Factor in that there is a chance some mentally ill person is listening... Imagine if someone takes a potshot at Hillary. There is a fifty percent chance the shooter will be a Republican supporter, and if so Trump could be facing some very serious charges.

Trump is loosing by ten percent. The debates will destroy him; There is no teleprompter in a debate, he will go off script, Clinton will lay into him, and the press will have a field day.

The Republican party is not behind Trump, and he will lose the election in a spectacular fashion. I don't believe I've ever seen this in my lifetime, but it will have a massive impact on politics - and most likely will be the end of the Republican party. Losing the White House three times in a row is one thing, but losing so badly will cause some Republicans to leave, others to join the Tea Party, and yet others to go to other parties giving them a chance.

Trump might just be the best thing that has ever happened to American politics.

The fact he's denying being taken to task by the USSS just shows what a scared pussy Trump is.

I am only surviving on rebills and it's all not my fault. Does anyone care?

The problem with Trump saying this kind of stuff, other than it could someday get him in trouble, is that it is doing nothing to help him in the election. We get it, he thinks Hillary is crooked. Fine. We got it the first 100 times he said it.

The reality is that about 35% of the people out there are going to vote for him no matter what he says. Saying all this crap only makes them cheer, it is not helping him bring in new voters as we can see by his cratering polling numbers. He needs to change things up if he wants to convince some moderate independents to vote for him.

Not to mention, saying this crap keeps causing Republicans to leave him. If he can't even reunite his own party how the hell can we expect him to unite the country?

Axeman 08-10-2016 08:51 PM

Official: No formal Secret Service discussions with Trump camp on remark

Quote:

A federal official on Wednesday said the U.S. Secret Service had not formally spoken with Republican Donald Trump's presidential campaign regarding his suggestion a day earlier that gun rights activists could stop Democratic rival Hillary Clinton from curtailing their access to firearms.

He's stayed in primary election mode and refuses to pivot to the wider audience. Everything you said is spot on :thumbsup

Protection duty cops, don't "speak to" the person they protect.

People who suggest violence towards a Presidential Candidate do get spoken to by the Secret Service.

? "Spoken" in this case is an official meeting. Obviously they speak everyday, however they spoke about this event officially.

You never will know what Trump's innuendo means exactly -- he plans it that way :2 cents:

That remark was staged intentionally to have double meanings -- with a back door out of the controversy.

should be fairly obvious now that neither candidate will unite the country.

the only question is, will hilary win, the media declare victory, & pretend all is flowers/lollipops while ISIS & social justice violence continue to grow & murder more often. national debt goes straight to hell.

or will trump win, the media declares the voters racist & gins up a race war, starting 4 years of the biggest storm of bullshit in american history. & every 5 point drop in stocks, every rain storm, every day a cop arrests a black, will be part of trumps holocaust.

just a question which assrape you prefer, lubed or bareback.

:)

he didnt stage it intentionally. he slipped. exactly like the mccain is not a war hero. if you watch carefully, he steps back the comment immediately, next breath.

with mccain, he followed up his comment by saying, "he is a war hero"

& the other day, he followed up his comment by saying, "that would be a horrible day."

so when you consider how he reflexively reacted to his own comment by rolling it back, you can see he's basically talking without a filter. & puts his foot in mouth.

because he's been counting money all his life.

the problem is you liberals dont have the IQ to see it like it is. these gaffes will give him the edge in the honesty question when the final tallies are analyzed.

thats why he will be president. more honest. :)

Trump is not a pussy. I think you along with the hipster democratic CNN Vice news lovers, he's going to make you accountable for YOUR actions.

And if-if-if Hillary wins you can kiss your white privileged way of life goodbye.

No. Trump says no. Reuters says No.
Only the asshats at CNN say it happened.

Trump is such an undeniable fucktard that it makes no sense for CNN to also have to make things up about him, but CNN usually makes about as much sense as an 83 year old hooker at a petting zoo. :2 cents:
