i myself was furious at the steinbrenners. when they gave him that 10 year deal...after he walked away from his contract, during a world series game! he embarrassed the yanks & looked for more money. But when he found no takers, fucking hank bails him out with a 300 million check. disgraceful.

Excellent point! I was going to list all of A-Rod's atrocities but this is the one that really gets my goat. We were FREE OF HIM. he was OUT THE DOOR. And fucking Hank Steinbrenner gives him a 10 year $300 million contract. WTF?? Plus, A-Rod was 33 so I said at the time, "What, he's going to play til he's 43?" Madness.

I'll tell you this: If I could trade that one World Series ring (2009) with A-Rod for a Yankee team without A-Rod and no World Series ring I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Listening to sports talk radio all day...non-stop suckfest for A-Rod and not ONCE in four hours has the word 'steroids' been mentioned. Disgraceful (but predictable).

He is still hated in Seattle. Nobody blamed him for taking the massive contract the Rangers gave him. However, as soon as he got to Texas he got with this group of people that were trying to get Boeing and other big companies to move to Texas. He made a video where he said, "I left Seattle to better myself, and I suggest you do the same." Mariner fans were livid. His first game back in Seattle they handed out fake dollar bills with his face on them. During his first at bat it rained A-Rod dollars as the boos were so loud you couldn't hear yourself think.

Since they are giving him a free pass can't we assume they are all on steroids? They are treating him like a hero and putting his stats up all over etc. If the other guys weren't doing it they would be outraged but no one seems to care at all.
