Avatars Temporarily Removed for Security Patch
 

Hey guys,

Sorry for not getting you all notice ahead of time. VBulletin has recently patched and this patch is to correct a security concern. This concern is tied to avatars. Our dev team is working as fast as they can to get this issue resolved.

Unfortunately over the years GFY has been customized and can not just be patched like a normal version of Vbulletin would be.

Can't wait til there is a security flaw discovered with 'accounts owned by assholes who aren't even in this industry.' Having them all removed, even temporarily during a patch would be great.

There goes a perfect way of spotting fake nicks or multiple accounts logging on from the same IP .... this sucks.
