GoPro has a great product for sure, but what kind of competition does it have?

After loosing mine i went to the local electronics store and purchased a knock off one its just as good really if your not doing high end stuff.

I assume you mean less expensive options? SJ4000 seems to review well. Just be mindful of knock offs.

I hear GoAmateur is kind of good, but it's no GoPro.

I have the SJ4000 and it works. It can use go pro accessories which is what I wanted. However the battery life is GAY AS ALL FUCK. Mkay? Buy a GoPro and be done with it. You are welcome:thumbsup

there's cheap go pro similar products for $19.99. They record in full HD or 4k & they do the job, water proof & other stuff :thumbsup

I have that little bendy holder thingy too love it!

The SJ4000 looks pretty good and I can get one for about $75. The other one that seems interesting is the new GoPro Session at $199.

I haven't seen any complaints about the SJ4000 battery life.

^^ beware of these ones. The ONLY thing good about these 20 dollar cams are the price. they are not hd or 4k. I wasn't expecting them to be mind you, but the quality is no comparison to the actual sj's or gopros. considering you can find them for under 100 bucks, at least for the sj.

possibly the lens, as the film is still going to format in hd or 4k.

Personally I don't like any of these cameras as the fisheye's no good for any video apart from action vid :thumbsup
