Londoners lined up more than a mile to experience In and Out Burger

There is a video on this page...

In & Out Burger just freaking rocks....

They are building one two blocks from my house. I am on a diet and trying to loose weight, but it will be great in the rare event I decide to treat myself.

Idiots or massive discounts were offered. How much is it in UK, I assume at least twice the price of US.

In and Out Burger was only there for one day...

Footage of Londoners queuing for more than a mile down Finchley Road to get their hands on a burger. The video, filmed this morning, shows people queuing up to try a burger from American fast food chain In-N-Out, available for one day only at Swiss Cottage between 11am and 3pm

People who line up for food :disgust

In n Out Burger did a 3 day pop-up in Kuala Lumpur last year. Burgers were ok. No lines. It was cheap. Fast food here is super cheap. Actually most food here is super cheap. Double Double meal was $4.50. A cheeseburger was $2.00

Menu below in Malaysian Ringgit. Divide by 4 for US$ conversion.

in n out is not that great. :(

If you live in So Cal and grew up on In n Out then you know there are way better burger chains then this place.

Fries suck, meat is wafer thin and always has a cheap meat flavor but there is so much HYPE behind the burger that people are sheep and think its the best.

If you want a good burger from a chain restaurant than FATBURGER is way better if you choose to have the burger made on the "Char" which is an open flame.

The meat quality is 10 X better and just like In n Out, Fatburger's meat is never frozen. The difference comes in to quality of meat and cooking styles and thats where FATBURGER wins.

The Burger tastes like a wonderful Backyard BBQ burger. Their Fat Fries are spectacular (Think thick steak fries) and the milksahkes are also 100% real Milk and ice cream but the difference is that FATBURGER has many more flavors not just the three standards of In n Out.

Now there are way better burgers than both of these locally in So Cal but if we are just talking about chain restaurants then FATBURGER kills In n Out in every major taste test.

Poor Londoners have no idea they are being manipulated into beliving this is the best burger.

Rant is over.

I bet they left disappointed. I know I do when I go there.

I grew up in London and can testify that the food in the UK, including fast food, is mostly disgusting. Yes, there's a lot of great restaurants there now, but they're expensive, and usually very expensive. So although you might sneer at what In-N-Out has to offer, to Londoners it might well seem like nectar of the Gods.

Cheap? You can buy a cheeseburger (ok not in and out maybe, but some cheeseburger) in US for 1 dollar. How come 2 dollars is cheap by Malaysian standards? :1orglaugh That is pretty damn expensive by Malaysian standards.
