USA launches first strike attack on Russia
Permit me to reframe the prior discussion properly:
Overnight NBC reported that U.S. military hackers had penetrated Russia's electric grid, telecommunications networks and the Kremlin's command systems, making them vulnerable to attack by secret American cyber weapons should the U.S. deem it necessary. This was reported by a Senior US Intelligence Official. Russia has responded: On Sunday, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that ?if no official reaction from the American administration follows, it would mean state cyberterrorism exists in the US. If the threats of the attack, which were published by the US media, are carried out, Moscow would be justified in charging Washington.? No election politics here, just please think about what just happened: The Obama administration just declared that it has attacked Russia and can now flip off power and communications across the country. The public is panicking. It is an outright act of war - and the USA fired the first shot. And at a nuclear power with whom the US should have friendly relations. Whatever result the election brings, the rest of this administration and (hopefully we make it to) the next one, will have to deal with the fallout of a full-scale cyber-war in which the USA has informed the world that it has made the first strike. How can this not result in global retaliation? I don't see how it is possible to avoid all major foreign powers now attacking American IT infrastructure. Banks, electricity, telecommunications, mobile networks - we can expect all of these to be systematically breached and brought down by foreign interests. How can this not lead to a full-blown kinetic war? In the paranoia over ensuring a political win, I fear that Obama has just sown the seeds of the next world war. |

The reality is this is the first time in history (well, not counting the admission by the US that it hacked Iran, but that one was defensible) that any country has admitted that it has placed virtual bombs within another country's key infrastructure systems. Think about it this way: Either it is an act of war or it is not. If it is not an act of war, then the outcome is that every country with a military in the world will now have free reign to place similar virtual bombs onto systems in every other country. That can't have an outcome that is not unbelievably dangerous. If it is an act of war, then the Obama administration just started a war with Russia. Either way, this is a losing development. I believe the world is in critical danger from the DECLARATION that the USA has attacked Russia (even thought it was understood that the US has been doing it covertly already). The distraction of the election is very troubling right now. This transcends politics. It is a real threat to life on the planet. |

ofcourse there will be a cold cyberwar. After all the wikileaks publications they don't want to sit back. At this moment the USA is trying to hack everything and everyone. Just like they want full control of every info about every living creature.

i think it's fairly well known that the russians did not hack the wikileaks emails, it was rogue agents in the NSA. The rest is a distraction to keep the focus from clinton and her many troubles. hopefully putin will see through this shit and wait until after the old colostomy bag gets another L on her presidential resume. |

Stating facts about Russian content theft is not prejudice as stating facts about USA war activities isn't prejudice. Most Russians are good people not hackers & thieves don't be stupid. |
many countries could see the actions from USA already as an act of war. Hacking the phone of the president in Brazil, Dilma... and many many others...

anti-hacker crew somewhere in Kremlin's command systems:thumbsup
