I feed mine prepared foods and the occasinal piece of dead fish or meat(steak, pork, chicken). Keeps em healthy.

Now im trianing then to be hand fed, getting close they come about 5 inches from my hand and then swim away. Soon

I seen him hunt and catch a sparrow last summer(didnt kill it, I saved it just in time), my cat is declawed!! He hit him so hard with one swipe of the paw he knocked the bird out cold, lol.

I used to breed redbelly pirhanas.. They are very cannibalistic if you don't feed them. Now imagine several HUNDRED baby pirhanas all in a tank haha. It is vastly amusing. Actually, my breeders (who were the size of large dinner plates) got hungry one day and one ate the other from the bottom fin and most of the tail off and allt he way back.. I thought for sure he was a goner. Get him go a few weeks though, fed them well and he actually grew most of it back. He was a LITTLE deformed, but they bred just fine so I guess he was okay. Amazing thing about fish, they can grow shit back, they regenerate nerve tissue. Pirhanas are amazing fish.. I love watching them feed.

I used to enjoy when people borrowed money or other things from me, I'd get collateral and put it in a plastic bag in with Bert and Ernie (their names). They knew me and wouldn't attack (they get to know your smell, besides they generally won't attack unless they're starved or cornered) but anyone else even walked near the tank and the fucking water boiled (they knew my footsteps too).

Wow nice work! I tried several times to breed red bellies but failed. I had 2 pair up once but they never bread.

I did however breed Clownfish, they paired up in my Reef Tank, the eggs hatched but the brood did not make it. Too bad, there is good money in tank bread marine fish, and its fun to.

Heh I didn't even try..it just happened... I left em alone, kept em REALLY well fed, and it just happened. I let them do their thing, sold the babies for like $15 a pop and made akilling.. the only other provider was like a 3 hour flight away and most of his stock died in transit (as I'm sure you know pirhanas are REALLY prone to shock death), so I made a killing. At least, it kept the hungry little bastards in food :) They cost me like $15 a day before I had to get rid of them for live food.

I removed the adults immediately and had several hundred hatch. They pretty much all made it to maturity aside from a few dumb ones who managed to piss off everyone in the tank... The secret is selling them off before they're so big they start to eat each other from lack of space.. Made a nice tidy sum.

Every couple of months if they are comfortable.. but man I kid you not they ate like mad once they got big.. When they hit the size of dinner plates, they'd generally eat 10-20 feeders each..depending on the size.. this is per DAY.

The mouse video is fucking cruel and sicko. Whoever made that video is a major lowlife scumball. Dirtbags like that turn into the psycho fucks that do shit to little kids and women after they get bored torturing animals.

yea, thats alot of goldfish! I feed mine mostly smelts, real cheap and 100% aquarium parisite free. Its also very easy to inject smelts with vitamin suplements.

If it's any consolation, if that mouse would have been in a tank with my fish, it wouldn't have been around long enough to know it had even gotten wet. It wouldn't be feeling pain. However I wouldn't give them a live mouse, nor would I videotape it. My fish did the world a favor by ridding the world of goldfish.. disgusting little creatures.

When I was a little kid I had pet mice. They are highly intelligent creatures, which is why they and the rats are so often used in lab experiments.

A friend of mine in elementary school asked if he could start raising mice too, so I gave him a couple of mine. I later found out he actually owned a pet snake and the mice I gave him were for a juicy meal.

So I just think throwing a live mouse into a fish tank and watching it struggle for its life like that is creepy. As is throwing them into snake cages. But to each his own. I recognize a lot of folks don't have a problem with it and think its funny to watch critters suffer. Go figure we live in a sick world.
