not a good analogy. the winner of the world series isn't based on votes.

Why would you expect that moron to know a false equivalency even if it rented space up his ass?

it's actually a pretty decent analogy...

if scoring more total points doesn't make you a winner in baseball, why do people think getting more total votes should make you a winner in presidential elections? a winner in baseball is one that wins majority of the games, likewise winner in presidential elections is one that wins majority of the states*...

*it's a bit more complicated than that, but that's the generally how it works...

They're fuelled by racism and hate as their posts here show. All day every day. Not referencing WOJ, just the 5 or so Trump spammers here.

well if all the games were played and then spectators got to vote on who they think played the best or who would is the best team, i would agree its a good analogy but thats not how it works.

And 538 electoral spectators voting the losing team as the winner a month later :thumbsup

- campaigning in each state is just like playing each game in baseball...
- convincing voters to vote for you, is just like scoring a point in baseball
so for example, in FL:
Clinton scored 4,485,745 "points"
Trump scored 4,605,515 "points"
so Trump won that "game"
- you then play the same "game" in each state
- team that wins majority of "games" wins it all

I don't see where the flaw in the analogy is?
