I have been saying this for a few years. But gonna do it now. I want to make a theme for webcamsexlist.

creating a wordpress theme from scratch is actually pretty easy if you know the basics..I've been playing around with existing themes, modifying them like crazy for years, but then I realized that I will never find the perfect theme until I make one myself. since then, i made tube themes, simple blogs, web shops, paysites, tgps etc.. i didn't take any courses, just used google when I was stuck :) There's a really simple wordpress theme which i was using for years, called CP-Minimal. It's simple enough, fast and it basically gives you all the basics you'll need for developing your own themes.

Unless your time is worth $2 an hour you cannot compete with all the themes you can buy for $40-$60.

I just bought a very complex set of HTML templates for $20. The developer/desogner must have countless hours into it has has sold near 2,000 copies -- made $1,000 gross? It was a very good deal for me :2 cents:

i find the free ones available even better. The paid ones tend to have too many features, making it very bloated.

Anyway there are so much themes available, so why reinvent the wheel?

Even if he worked on them 400 hours, that's still $100/hour.

Yea, but he probably uses that same theme as a template for others and likely sold 2k of the others as well. :winkwink:

I am having the last laugh. In about 10 minutes I am close to the layout look I want with the template I bought for $20.

So fuck you. Hope you can make some money -- I would rather buy someones hard work for pennies. If he makes a lot of pennies all power to him.

I have 5 full time developers I work with but for my personal domains I like fast and dirty and adapted to my own custom back-end code and database. Rather spend my time there TY.

Two videos from youtube showed me how to make a simple wordpress theme. Pretty fun.

I am gonna try to liven up the theme a little. My artistic side is lacking. But will see what I can do.

download any simple theme , see source and modify it according to yours. in your new html css.

Anybody have a good site to buy themes?
