I think it's an age thing - Cartoons meant Tom & Jerry when I was a kid - We didn't have the educational stuff - Pretty sure I could catch a roadrunner though:winkwink:...

It's interesting that none native English speakers learned from this stuff - I am struggling to learn Spanish - Maybe I should look into it.....

Tom & Jerry still gets new episodes, and i watch it occasionally on mainstream TV when there is nothing on it during coffe break. They also have modernized version of looney tunes where main characters are bugs bunny and daffy duck and it's pretty good.
