Worst Stephen King Book and Why?
Insomnia imho... Pretty unfollowable, plot is all over the shop, constantly switching from male to female characters perspective but not being clear as to which one and the end is like he was making it up as he went alone - Lets share auras - Lets do this - Lets be in a plane - Lets be in a plane and outside a plane at the same time - Lets make his mother a huge catfish etc etc etc...
I love SK but this was a REAL LETDOWN... Then I discover they are making a movie of it soon !!! :helpme:helpme:helpme |

Worst book was Gerald's Game, which I hear is being made into a movie.
Husband has a heart attack, wife is trapped handcuffed to the bed, dogs sniff her crotch, she's tormented by memories of her pervert father and a necropheliac who b&e's her home waits for her to die so he can fuck her. |

I've been on a Stephen King audiobook spree since last year. I listen to them on long bike rides. So far I've listened to The Talisman, Black House, Carrie, and IT. Stephen Weber's performance of IT is outstanding. Currently trying to get into Salem's Lot, but finding it to be kind of boring... |
Goddamn it, I was just about to make a "What was the last great book you read" post :1orglaugh Anyway for me it was definetly "The Shining". The movie gave it FAR more crediblity and hype than it desereved IMO. It wasn't frightening or psychologically disturbing at all - thought it was a snooze tbh.

Cujo. I tried twice but just couldn't get into it.
